Why my msn emoticons are not showing?

i have windows live messenger.....my emoticons are not showing......even the simple ones.....they are showing as letters..





how can i fix it?

Reply:On the top of your msn conversations, there will be a toolbar. go to Tools%26gt; Options%26gt; Messages%26gt; and click the boxes next to "show emoticons" and "show custom emoticons"
Reply:Click on file on the toolbar on msn and then click on show emotions :)
