Why can't i see my msn emoticons on messenger 9?

like i can see other ppl's but not mine, they don't come up when i write their "shortcuts" :''(

Why can't i see my msn emoticons on messenger 9?
ok.. when you get a new version of messenger it sometimes doesn't transfer your emoticons


i don't know of a way of transferring them but there might be a way
