How do I stop MSN messenger from resizing my custom emoticons?

I'm using .gifs, 52x41 images, with a render on a transparent background. Every time I "Browse..." for an image, and select my custom emoticon, and upload it, it makes it like 10x10 or 16x16, without asking me if I'd like it to do so. Help, please?

Reply:I don't think you can actually use an emoticon bigger than 16x16, which is why MSN resizes it. Think about it- anything bigger than that would take up more than one line of text and bump everything down.





I could be wrong, but 10x10 or 16x16 makes SENSE.
Reply:thats the only sized it comes in ... resize it yourself and fix it the way you want... it's like putting a large photo in a little avatar it NEEDS to be resized
